Hoofprints/Newspaper Club

Hoofprints is Mainland’s school newspaper, which has gone fully digital! The Newspaper Club is open to all students with an interest in writing, editing, photography, social media, or anything else in the field of journalism. The advisor will act as the Editor in Chief, but students will be fully responsible for content with some taking leadership roles as student editors. Meetings will occur bi-weekly and then as needed prior to website updates. Club members should be willing to attend various school functions “Around the Corral”, such as concerts, plays, sporting events, and more in order to report on them for the paper. The club also participates in school activities, such as “Haunted Hallways”, to promote school spirit. No experience necessary!
