Lisa Ann takes the time to make sure everyone understands the lessons, offers extra help when needed, and encourages us to believe in ourselves even when the work is difficult. Her creative teaching methods make math fun and easier to grasp, and she’s always looking for new ways to help us learn. Students want to be in her classroom because of the energetic upbeat energy she provides for her students. She has an open-door policy, and students feel welcome and comfortable asking questions or going for extra help. Her kindness, patience, and passion for teaching make Mrs. Betson not only an amazing educator but also someone who truly inspires her students every day.
Since the very first day we entered Mainland, Mrs. Price has played an essential role in supporting my student academically, behaviorally, socially, and emotionally. Mrs. Price advocates for what a student needs, yet she also holds them accountable and encourages them to work toward being the best version of themselves. She collaborates closely with teachers, communicates consistently, and ensures that students always have the right supports in place, no matter how complex the situation. Mrs. Price's dedication goes far beyond paperwork and meetings and placements. Her commitment is appreciated, and Mainland is incredibly fortunate to have her.
