Community Use of School Facilities
Everything you need to know about reserving a MRHS facility for community use.
Users may begin submitting requests for the next school year on July 1. Requests for the next school year received prior to July 1st will be declined.
Application Process
New Users Getting Started
If you have never used MRHS facilities before, you must first self-register as an organization event coordinator (OEC) through the online reservation system, FMX Community Use. After clicking this link please complete and submit the form.. Please allow one business day for your registration to be approved. Once approved you will revive log in information from FMX Community Use.
Registered Users
Once you have registered and have been approved as an organization event coordinator (OEC) in the online reservation system, FMX Community Use, you can request the use any MRHS facility. Please note per Regulation 1330, requests must be submitted at least sixty (60) business days prior to the event date. Once your schedule has been approved, the OEC cannot make any adjustments to the schedule, including cancellations. All requests for changes or cancellations must be made through the Community Use contact listed at the bottom of this page.

Mainland's facilities are available for use by the community as follows:

Fees - Rental, Personnel and Equipment
Rental fees are based on the purpose for which school facilities are used. When a request to use school facilities is for the primary benefit of the user, rental fees will be charged. Groups that provide an IRS letter of nonprofit (501c) status will be charged nonprofit rates. The school districts and local governments of Linwood, Northfield & Somers Point, Full-Time Employees of MRHS running an event to benefit Mainland Students, and any other groups as determined by the Board of Education will be charged the Group M rate. In addition to the purpose, rental fees are based on:
- the type of space requested (cafeteria, auditorium, gymnasium, classroom, athletic field, etc.).
- the length of time the facility is to be used.
Prohibited Activities
Community users are prohibited from having the following activities on Mainland Regional High School property, including in school buildings and on fields:
- Aerial Acrobatics
- Airplane/Helicopter/Hot Air Balloons Landing
- Alcoholic Beverages
- Animals (except in the case of service animals that are necessary to help an individual with a disability). The user shall cleanup any school grounds used by service animals participating in scheduled events.
- Candles and/or Incense
- Car Bashing
- Car Wash
- Circus or Carnival
- Color/Splatter Run
- Drones
- Fireworks and Sparklers (except by local Government)
- Fog/Smoke Machines
- Gambling
- Hay (or other flammable items)
- Illegal Drugs
- Laser Tag
- Moon Bounces
- Paint Ball
- Parachuting/Sky Diving (onto parking lots/fields)
- Raingutter Regatta
- Remote Control Flyers
- Rocket Launch
- Running in School Hallways (sports conditioning)
- Skating (roller skates or inline skates—inside buildings)
- Tobacco Products or Smoking Devices (including nicotine vapor products, alternative nicotine products, electronic cigarettes and Hookah pens)
