Literacy Club

Allow students an academic outlet for personal written expression. Provide both positive feedback and constructive criticism on peers' writing.

Teach editing and revision skills.

Promote the arts and work in collaboration with various talented student artists.

Create a supportive community for those interested in the arts (we share music, author, programming, and special interest suggestions with one another =).

Compose a publishable collection of our work in the form of a literary art magazine in the spring.

Enter best works into various writing competitions beyond our school community (Scholastic, NCTE, It's Allwrite!, local competitions). 

We meet once a rotation during unit lunch and work in collaboration outside of school in online shared files.
